What is this?

General Assembly is a term used to describe a gathering of people, usually for the purpose of discussing and deciding on collective action. This often takes the form of an open meeting of members, a collective of representatives from organizations, or an assembly of governing bodies. The assembly can have a variety of functions, including the formal adoption and ratification of laws, policies, or decisions, the exchange of ideas and solutions, and the fostering of community, solidarity, and collective action. In general, the assembly allows for collective decision-making and open discussion and offers a platform for increased engagement and participation. Furthermore, the General Assembly is a space for building relationships and strengthening connections among its members.
